Trails through the natural woodland setting can be an adventure. Ferns, trillium, foxglove, blackberry and wild strawberries are scattered among the cedar and fir forest.

Forest Retreat Cabin is the entire second floor of the building. (storage only below) A large outdoor second story deck with views of Osborn Mountain lures guest to relax and take in the scenery. Your private outdoor hot tub is on the back deck.

Forest Retreat has a large open floor plan that can be used in a variety of ways.

  • Couples and families enjoy the spaciousness, privacy and views from the cabin.
  • Groups can cook big meals and dine together on the double long harvest table.
  • Forest Retreat accommodates groups in the large open floor plan for small weddings, family reunions, business retreats and seminars year round. There is ample room for meetings, gathering, dancing and dining.
  • At ground level, a large covered porch provides room for group dining, dancing, or meeting in an outdoor setting. Pop up tents can be added to accommodate extra people.

A 6 person hot tub on the back deck of the cabin is private to guest at Forest Retreat.
Copper Creek Inn, Cabins and Lodge, located 2 miles west of the the Nisqually (southwest) entrance to Mt. Rainier National Park, is a small resort with two suites and one sleeping room upstairs from historic Copper Creek Restaurant. Nine cabins are scattered throughout the pristine 10+ acres that is surrounded by Nisqually Land Trust and Forest Service land. The roaring, rocky Copper Creek intersects the property with plenty of spots to steal away and enjoy the solitude. One off site cabin on 8 acres is also offered by Copper Creek Inn Cabins and Lodge. Enjoy the beautiful acreage, wooded areas, the creek, fire pits and big open grassy areas for games and gathering.
